Local Area Agreements

COGS has been commissioned by the Government Office for Yorkshire and The Humber (GOYH) to support the voluntary and community sector to engage in the development of Local Area Agreements, particularly with regard to the community empowerment / community participation elements. The funding for this project is provided from the Neighbourhood Renewal Unit’s Delivery Support Programme and the Home Office ChangeUp programme.

During March 2006 we arranged a series of events and have subsequently produced a series of briefing papers which cover each of the workshop themes - you are welcome to download these:

• the outcomes approach of LAAs
• commissioning and procurement
